Solent Dolphin is a Registered Charity (no. 900604) with a Management Committee and a  Board of Directors.  It is this latter committee which organises and runs all aspects of the M/V ALISON MacGREGOR’s operations.  There are 21 qualified Skippers, who all undergo refresher training each year to ensure the safe operation of the boat.

Solent Dolphin is financially self-supporting through all the generous donations from many organisations and benefactors, in particular the local Rotary and Lions Clubs.  In addition, we are very grateful to Marina Developments Limited, who kindly provide berthing and storage facilities free of charge. Without all this support we would not be able to give the pleasure to the many people with disabilities that we are able to.
